This week saw my second week of work. I’m an Exam Invigilator at a local school and I’m really enjoying it so far. The work fits perfectly around my children being at school and I even managed to fit in my weekly reading sessions with Reception and Year 2 too. I’m still adjusting to being so busy! It was a busy week for my blog too and although I’m grateful for the opportunities my blog brings it does feel like I’ve been burning the candle at both ends lately.
It’s also been another week of making and editing a lot of videos. My 7 year old seems to have caught the bug and keeps wanting to make videos, he’s even asked for his own YouTube channel! I’ve been looking for someone to help me with my YouTube channel trailer and art so please leave me a comment if you know of anyone who does this.
We’ve spotted some lovely birds in our garden this week so have added to our collection with a budget water bowl from Poundland. My son has been tying to take photos of all the birds and proudly took them into school on Friday for Show & Tell.
My daughter has embraced Rainbows and was so proud to bring home another badge this week. I’m so grateful I can sew because both my children bring home so many badges which need stitching!
We’ve escaped from London for the Bank Holiday weekend to Wiltshire. The weather has cooled down a little but we’ve enjoying some relaxing time. Both the kids bought new Lego sets so we’ve made more unboxing videos and they’ve been enjoying their new sets.
