As you read this I will be heading to my new job! I have a temporary part-time job over the next few weeks which I’m really excited about – and a little nervous too!
We had some wonderful toys to review this week. My 7 year old made unboxing videos of the new toys based on the Crossy Road app, as well as the new Despicable Me Mineez. He loves making videos although I’m not sure I’m particularly enjoying editing them – he doesn’t stop talking so it takes me ages!
My daughter enjoyed Rainbows. Her leader was away for a couple of weeks and she really missed it. This week she brought home the Rainbow promise which she had written out. Her writing is progressing so well although I’m not she needs to be learning how to join up her letters in Reception.
It was a busy weekend as we also went along to the school May Fair and my son went to a birthday party. My poor 7 year old has a week of end of year SATs assessments so I’m glad he had a busy and fun weekend.
We spent yesterday helping at a special Beaver adventure day. My son loves Beavers so we were happy to provide some extra pairs of hands. The weather was amazing so it was a pretty nice way to spend the day. The theme was space and there were loads of activities for the kids to take part in and learn more about space, including a very cool Science Dome.
