Cath Kidston days out mindfulness

Monday Happy Things – Week 75

Happy Monday everyone. We had a lovely quiet weekend at home for once so I am feeling rested to face the week ahead. This post is my chance to reflect on the week gone by as the days race past.

I get to work with some amazing brands and was so excited to receive an email from Cath Kidston, asking if I wanted to take part in their Mother’s Day campaign. They sent me a wonderful gift box containing everything I needed to make a Mother’s Day rosette. I enjoyed stitching a Mother’s Day rosette, take a look at my finished piece and find out where to find the full instructions.

The weather has been warmer which means the children have played outside more. Over the weekend we cut the grass for the first time this year. I love Spring and am looking forward to planting some Spring bulbs in these colourful bird planters the children decorated.

Yesterday we had a lovely walk in the local woods. We don’t go there enough but we all got some much-needed fresh air. It was quite muddy in places so the children loved stomping around in their wellies.

We took the children to their first classical music performance, a special one just for kids. I love hearing music performed live and it was great watching their faces take everything in. The last piece was a selection from Star Wars which I knew they would both love 🙂

Last week I reviewed the #Paperhaul subscription box for allsubscriptionboxes.co.uk. This is a great site full of reviews of all types of subscription boxes so definitely worth popping over if you’re thinking of trying one.
