It’s beautifully sunny here today, fingers crossed it lasts. Time for my weekly Monday happy things post:
My son went back to school after the school holidays. We had an amazing few weeks but he was happy to see his friends and his new teachers. My 3 year old and I have been a little subdued without him.
Over the summer I took part in a Summer Postcard Club organised by Marceline at Asking for Trouble. I sent 5 postcards and received 5 postcards, and it was lovely to receive some happy mail.
The sun shone on Sunday for what felt like the first time in weeks. We all enjoyed a trip to our local nature reserve and my children loved riding their bikes around the reservoir. It ensured they slept well last night too.
We’re Friends of Sylvanian Families and received the most amazing goody bag. It contained Sylvanian Families playing cards, a Sylvanian Families magazine, colouring sheets and this fun ruler and stencil.
We’re all excited about Halloween! I know it’s weeks away but the weather is so cold it’s got us thinking about Halloween. I picked up a roll of pumpkin Duck Tape in Hobbycraft at the weekend and can’t wait to craft with it.
