Monday happy things

Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone. My son goes back to school this week so we have been making the most of the holidays. My Monday happy things this week are:

Tomorrow we are taking part in a fun Bob the Builder Twitter frenzy from 6.30am until 7.45am. Bob the Builder has been given his biggest re-vamp in the show’s history with a modern look and feel and the new CGI-animated series is launching on Channel 5’s Milkshake from tomorrow (1st September 2015) at 7.20am. Follow the #Bobthebuilderon5 to join in the fun and for your chance to win some fab prizes.

I sent and received my fabric ATC for Round 7 of the Very Berry Fabric ATC swap. I was delighted to open an envelope and receive this pretty fabric ATC from my partner.

Last week I was invited to become a Friends of Sylvanian Families blogger. Of course I said yes as my 3 year old adores her Sylvanian Families collection.

We juggled a few DIY projects over the Bank Holiday weekend. We made our own shoe storage for our hallway which isn’t very sexy but is practical. And I’ve been upcycling a vintage sewing box with some gorgeous Belle and Boo decoupage paper for my daughter.

I received my latest Lucky Dip Club subscription box which had the fab theme of a girl guide who never grew up. I loved the sticker and correspondence set – perfect for sending out with my swaps.

What a fun day! I love the idea of a box full of ‘grown up girl guide’ goodies. I bet it was so fun to look through!

What a lovely crafty time you had! I’m trying to get back into crafting at the moment and struggling with a baby.
