Monday happy things

Happy Monday everyone, hope you had a great weekend. Our weekend started with a trip to the cinema to see the new Thomas and Friends film and ended with another classmates birthday party for my son. It was a busy weekend but luckily there are only 3 days left of school before the holidays start 🙂

The last few weeks I’ve been using a nail file from Stylefile. I love buffing and polishing my nails so have been enjoying looking after them with these new tools. Invented by Tom Pellereau who was on The Apprentice, the range includes a mini nail file you can attach to your keys,  a mani pro nail file and nail file with cuticle oil. My nails have never felt so well looked after. I especially love the emergency nail file which will be perfect for our European mini break this weekend. Have I mentioned we have an adults only weekend pass?

My favourite press show of the year is Hobbycraft and I had a great look around their showcase of Halloween and Christmas products. I popped into my local Hobbycraft yesterday and they were already setting up an aisle of seasonal products. I admit to buying a pack of cute little gingerbread men which will be great for embellishing cards.

More cuteness has arrived at our house with the release of Season 3 Shopkins. My children adore these cute little collectible characters from your favourite shops. Season 3 Shopkins feature a very cute gingerbread house and I managed to buy Ginger Fred in both colours. These are destined to be a necklace and new keyring for me.
