I’m pleased to say the past week has been slightly less manic as I’ve taken a small step back from blogging and spent more time crafting!
Following on from the success of the fairy garden we built in our garden I wrote 10 top tips for creating a fairy garden which was published on Female First. Take a look if you’re thinking of building your own!
We’re huge fans of Miffy so I was pretty excited the miffy bento lunch I made for my children was shared on the miffy blogs too. You can see my original blog post about how I made the miffy themed lunch here.
Have you see the Orla Kiely for douwe egberts limited edition coffee jars? I don’t like coffee but I couldn’t let these gorgeous jars go. I managed to track them down in my local Co-op and Waitrose and just need my husband to drink the coffee so I can use my lovely new jars.
I’ve been enjoying Cuckoo Bircher muesli pots, which are the perfect healthy breakfast or on-the-go snack for busy parents and adventurous kids. Inspired by the century-old Swiss recipe for Bircher muesli, Cuckoo combines tradition with pioneering flavour combinations including Elderflower & Cranberry, Choco Sour Cherry and Mango & Coconut. With an average of 280 calories per 190g single-serve pot, Cuckoo Bircher muesli is low-GI and a great source of protein and fibre too.
Did you see Tom Katsumi on Twitter who was cross stitching the general election results live on Thursday evening? I wish I had thought of it and I love the fact he’s now auctioning the finished piece on eBay for Scope. It’s already up to £84 with 5 days left. The auction is here if you want to take a look.
