days out sewing

Monday happy things

Yesterday I spotted my first snowdrops of the year whilst we were out visiting the Watts Gallery in Sussex. I love snowdrops and it always makes me happy to see them poking out of the frozen ground.

I seemed to have reached some social milestones this week. Yep, I’m celebrating 5 years on Foursquare and a whopping 8 years on Twitter. I reached over 100000 followers on Pinterest too. I’m not sure how I feel about this, in fact I’m trying not to think about it too much!

It may seem from reading my blog that all I’m doing at the moment is crafting with my children but there has been some grown up crafting too. I just need to share it with you. Why are there only 7 days in a week.

In the real world I’ve been spending time de-cluttering whilst the children are at nursery and school. I only have a few hours to myself but I decided I needed to tackle the boxes of stuff that are cluttering the house. It’s got to the stage where I can’t actually open a drawer to find things so I’m hoping to organise things a little better and perhaps *sshhh* even donate some toys and things to our local charity shop.

Thanks to my sister we have discovered Crisis. We pretty much binge watched it over the weekend. Basically, during a school trip, the children who all happen to be the children of Washington, D.C.’s elite, are the victims of an ambush. A national crisis begins and some of the parents are asked to do impossible things to secure the release of their children. It’s really good and I look forward to watching an episode when the children are in bed.
