Monday Happy List {Week 281}

Posted on March 2, 2020March 2, 2020 by jenny

I love to start the week by writing the Monday Happy List. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures – it’s a post I love to write.

Monday Happy List {Week 281}

It’s not often I’m able to help at my children’s school any more but as I don’t work on Mondays I volunteered at my daughter’s school to help with their Egyptian Day. My daughter hates dressing up so we compromised on her costume – I stitched bandages around a white top and she went as an egyptian mummy. Of course she wore a jumper all day but at least I tried!

My youngest lost another tooth last week, this time she pulled it out as it was annoying her. She seems to be losing her baby teeth quite quickly now and is catching up with all her friends.

The whole family went to Week 2 of Puppy School at the Dogs Trust London. Our little puppy was very distracted by all his new puppy friends so it looks like we will be repeating a lot of the training at home this week. After our training session we visited the Dogs Trust cafe which is totally dog friendly. It was lovely to be able to take him to a cafe as we haven’t found many dog-friendly places to go yet. We all had some delicious cake and picked up a few things in the little shop there too.

special My Spy screening

On Saturday we were invited to a screening of My Spy a new film featuring Dave Bautista which is out later this month. It was a great film which my son and I enjoyed watching. As we were in central London we took the opportunity to visit the Lego Store, Orbital Comics and see the new Statues in the Square in Leicester Square.

Have a great week everyone!

    I think writing down in a blog things that made you happy from the previous week is a wonderful idea. Best of luck on puppy school!

    I love orbital comics, great choice for when you were in London. Sounds like a good week even if the cutie dog needs some extra training x

    I do love reading the updates on your puppy he is just so cute and although training didn’t quite go to plan he will get there. It sounds like you had a great week I used to hate the dress up days when my Daughter was at school but she used to love them

    I love your Happy Monday lists, they always make me smile. My son has just gone through a spell of losing many teeth, seems to have calmed down a little now. Also, the dressing up thing made me smirk. My son has been very specific about this World Book day and has to be Aslan. It has been so difficult to get a costume just right. I would have made one, but haven’t had the time of late. We got one sorted in the end, and hopefully all will go well on Thursday and he won’t want to wear a jumper all day.

    Egyptian Day sounds like a lot of fun, maybe your daughter will get into dressing up when she will get a bit older. It’s such a creative process, from planning the costume, creating it and then see what her school colleagues came up with on the day as well.

    My Spy sounds like a film we would really enjoy as a family. My son isn’t always the biggest fan of dressing up either.

    The new movie sounds pretty good and may even interest my eldest son has it has Dave Bautista in it.

    My spy looks really good, it is on our list of things we want to watch when it is released. Puppy school is so cute, when we took our puppy I was made to sit in the watching area because I was too busy stroking all the puppies haha whoops!
