Happy Monday everyone, hope you had a great weekend. Time for my weekly post about all the things which have made me really happy over the last 7 days. Sometimes I struggle to find 5 things, other days I have more than 5 and have a hard job picking my favourite 5. The idea is to remind myself of all the good things which happen and be more mindful.
I got my Shipping Forecast quilt out, albeit briefly. Life is just crazy at the moment and I need to spend more time doing the things I enjoy. So far I have cut out my map of Great Britain and Ireland. I want to take a hand stitching project away with me over Easter so I’m hoping to get this to a stage where I can take it with me.
On Saturday I sang in my first concert for years. I’ve joined a really friendly local choir and made some lovely new friends too. We’re on a break for Easter now but I can’t wait until rehearsals start for our next concert.
I treated myself to a copy of Gift From The Sea to read. A friend recommended it to me and it sounded like just my kind of book. I’ve packed it in my holiday bag already – can you tell I’m counting down the days until the Easter holidays!
I’ve received an insane amount of items to review over the last week which is great, especially for the children, but they take a lot of time to review. I’m trying to review everything so I can cut back on my blogging over the Easter holidays – this never happens but I am really trying this year!
Jen from Magic Feather Designs has been helping me with a lovely new blog design. I’ve been wanting one for a couple of months and was so happy when I found her as I love her style. I have a gorgeous new header and will be rolling this design out over my social media accounts soon. I’m finding the pale blue really calming which is perfect!
Have a great week everyone!
