The children were sent a lovely parcel of craft kits from Baker Ross last week. Of course they immediately wanted to make everything but they decided on Lovebug Valentine glasses. Did you know Lovebugs can be quite destructive little creatures (just take a look at this article on Wikipedia) so I’m glad the foam stickers we used are colourful and good looking!
Materials needed to make Lovebug Valentine glasses:
Love Bug foam stickers
Heart foam glasses
How to make Lovebug Valentine glasses:
Our craft kit contained 6 pairs of foam glasses so the children picked their favourite colour to work with. Then they had a good look at the Love Bug stickers which contained lots of different shapes and sizes.
This was a fun activity which they were able to do with minimal supervision from me. The sticks are really easy to peel so I left them at the table, picking their favourite stickers and deciding where to put them. The glass frames were quite chunky so they were able to cover them.
They approached it quite differently which is why I love seeing what they do with ready made craft kits. Big Brother decorated his frames with just a few stickers.
Little Sis just covered hers, she obviously loved all the stickers!
This is a sweet little craft and there were plenty left over for another day or craft activity!
