Looking forward to 2018 {and finishing off my WIPs}

Sashiko stitching kit

This year has whizzed past for me. I can’t believe my children are now in Year 3 and Year 1, progressing through karate lessons and gaining new Beaver badges every week. Life is very full with two young children.

Next year I have decided to focus a little more on myself. I say it every year but I don’t give myself as much time as I want to spend on my own hobbies. I love blogging but I also love paper cutting and sewing. I bought a few things this year which I never got round to making so I’m going to list them with the full intention of not buying any more craft kits until I’ve made them.

In no particular order in 2018 I will make the following:

London Bus Pin Cushion Kit by Crafty Nana

Christmas Angel & Santa Fabric Panel from Sew Lucky Patterns and Kits

Shipping Forecast Quilt (pattern by Janet Clare) – started but never finished

Easter bunny pendant from Mollie Makes Red Nose Day magazine

Dress Your Tree Felt Christmas Jumper Ornaments (pattern by Ric Rac)

Village Embroidery Kit from Janet Clare

Mollie Makes felt angel/Christmas tree topper

Star Wars Felt Characters (started here but never finished)

Star Wars Felt Characters

Party Light Sewing Pattern from Sew Lucky Patterns and Kits

Little London Sewing Kit bunting

Sylvanian Families tshirt

Sashiko stitching kit

Triangle Pouch from the Craft Club Kit sub box

Sewing Kit from Janet Clare

These are all the kits I’ve managed to pull out of my cupboard but to be honest I didn’t look too deeply as I’m already embarrassed about this little stash. In most cases these are projects that I’ve half started and never got round to finishing, but some are kits I bought and haven’t started. I can’t afford to buy anything else until I’ve made a huge dent in this little pile! Hopefully I will be able to blog about what I’ve made each month.
