I haven’t treated myself to a subscription box for a while but when I heard about the new Kawaii Japan Surprise Box from Asking For Trouble I knew I wanted to get my hands on one.
I love Marceline’s products, she has a cute gingerbread range!, and have made a few small purchases before, such as this gingerbread couple tea towel. When I heard about the limited edition of 25 subscription boxes I knew I had to snap one up.
Kawaii Japan Surprise Box
Each box cost just £15 (for contents worth around £32) and includes ten items including a cute Mt Fuji enamel pin. Almost everything else is either exclusive to the box or brand new and not yet available from the Asking for Trouble store.
Here’s what I received:
Mt Fuji enamel pin, Fuji Dots notebook and Mt Fuji polymer stamp
Set of 6 stickers, Sakura badge, 2 Kokeshi mini cards and a postcard from Marceline’s recent trip to Japan
Set of 6 Onigiri notelets with an emotion for every occasion
And a sheet of temporary tattoos which include my favourite gingerbread characters. There was also a mini zine.
I really enjoyed opening the Kawaii Japan Surprise Box. My favourite item has to be the enamel pin and I now have quite a collection. In fact I think I might have to make something to hold them all.
The Kawaii Japan Surprise Box has sold out but there may be plans for more so make sure you follow Asking for Trouble on Twitter to stay up to date.
