Sometimes I love being a blogger as I get the chance to work with some great craft brands. We’ve been working with Baker Ross for a while now and were delighted to receive a bundle of their new craft supplies to make some Valentine’s Day art. Every year we love to give handmade cards and we’ll be continuing this tradition this year thanks to Baker Ross.
We used the Craft-it! foam sheets and Craft-it! large picture frames to create some unique hand print art. We’ll show you the steps we went through so you can make it too!
Hand print art for Valentine’s Day
The first step was to draw around my 4 year olds hands on a foam sheet.
She chose the light pink colour and I drew around both of her hands using a pencil.
Then I cut around each hand.
She chose a different colour of foam sheet and we used this as a background, I cut it slightly smaller than the picture frame.
I trimmed the hand prints slightly so they made a heart shape then attached them to the foam sheet with glue dots. I then attached the foam sheet to the picture frame with more glue dots. My daughter wrote her name on the back of the frame and I added the date.
We’ve wrapped it up and put it away so my 4 year old can give it to her Dad next week, I hope he likes it.
