During the Summer holidays (ok they’re not over but it feels like it!) we were invited to the launch of the Go Create Eco Craft kits at Drink Shop & Do. I remember the weather was really hot and we were so happy to find a little crafting oasis had been set up in the beautiful surroundings of the old Turkish Baths in the heart of Kings Cross. The place was amazing and we were shown into a room which used to be the 2nd Cooling Room – sorry for the geeky facts but the building was so lovely!
The room was set up with tables laid for afternoon tea and the Go Create Eco Craft kits. The children were in heaven as they were given aprons and allowed to pick a kit to make. We chose the Egg Box Bug Garden and had fun transforming egg cartons into bugs and flowers. The instructions were easy to follow and fun to make. Tea and crafting is guaranteed to make us happy and we had a great time, leaving with lots more craft kits to try out at home.
The kits contain everything you need to transform something from your recycling bin into something cool with your kids. We love junk modelling but these kits take it one step further.
