Book giveaway: The Confessions of Frannie Langton

Book giveaway: The Confessions of Frannie Langton

Posted on September 7, 2019 by jenny

I’ve read a lot of books this year, I totally blame this on signing up to a Goodreads challenge to read 12 books at the start of the year. I smashed my book target within a few weeks which I couldn’t be happier about. I’ve always loved reading and and it’s one of my favourite pastimes.

Earlier this year I devoured The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sara Collins. You can read my review here. It’s a great book which I really loved reading. It’s perfect for those who love historical fiction set in Georgian London. It recently came out in paperback and was also named Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month. I am delighted to have teamed up with Penguin Random House and have a copy to giveaway!

The Confessions of Frannie Langton

1826, and all of London is in a frenzy. Crowds gather at the gates of the Old Bailey to watch as Frannie Langton, maid to Mr and Mrs Benham, goes on trial for their murder. The testimonies against her are damning – slave, whore, seductress. And they may be the truth. But they are not the whole truth.

For the first time Frannie must tell her story. It begins with a girl learning to read on a plantation in Jamaica, and it ends in a grand house in London, where a beautiful woman waits to be freed.

But through her fevered confessions, one burning question haunts Frannie Langton: could she have murdered the only person she ever loved?

Win The Confessions of Frannie Langton

I’ve teamed up with Penguin Random House and one lucky person can win The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sara Collins in paperback. To enter my giveaway you must answer the question via the Rafflecopter widget below, there are some bonus entries too. The giveaway is open to those with a UK postal address only and ends on 22nd September. The winners name will appear on this post. Good luck!

Don’t forget to check out my other giveaways on my competition page.
