Get paid to shop

Posted on December 11, 2014November 1, 2019 by jenny
I love to save money at this time of year. I was talking to my sister earlier today and saying how I had really wanted to make everyone something handmade. Unfortunately I’ve only managed to make one thing, and that’s for her! I forget how busy this time of year gets, especially with two children busy with Christmas parties and plays.

Instead I’ve been concentrating my efforts on saving money with my online Christmas shopping. Have you heard of GetPaidTo ?

It’s a really easy way to earn money online and there are lots of ways to earn with them. You can:
  • tell your friends about a site and get them to sign up
  • get paid to click and watch adverts
  • get paid to post to an advertiser’s forum, blog, or to their social pages
  • take part in paid surveys
  • participate in product trials and reviews
All these help you to earn points which can then be converted to a cash transfer, gift cards or a Cashback Boost. As well as all those features there’s the opportunity to earn cashback on your online purchases, discount voucher and plenty of daily deals too. In fact there are so many different ways to earn money you may just want to choose one!

I found the site really easy use. You need to register but you can use your Facebook account if you don’t want another set of details to remember! The site is easy to navigate with sections for how to save, earn and redeem points. GetPaidTo have a handy blog and forum so it’s really easy to keep up to date with the latest deals, they’re social too so you need never miss a thing!

You can quickly accumulate points. I find I can fit in a couple of surveys when I sit down for a cup of tea and so the points really do build up. My favourite part is definitely the cashback feature as I love to save on my online purchases. There are some great deals to be had from many of my favourite shops, such as up to 9% cashback on purchases from Hotel Chocolate.

As a mum of two little ones (and one big kid) I really want to spoil my family this Christmas. Fortunately GetPaidTo helped me find some great deals to help me save money and make sure my money went further. For example Tesco currently have 50% off plus get up to 3% cashback on selected Health & Beauty Christmas Gift packs! Perfect for buying gifts for my Mum and sister. There’s also £20 off when you spend £100 on selected Technology and Home Electrical products, so let’s just say I was able to tick a few things from my husband’s gift list too. There are literally thousands of retail brands so you can really save, brands include up to 3% at The Entertainer, 3.5% at Argos, 4% at elc and up to 8% at Boots.

What are you waiting for? Go and take a look and let me know what you think.

Blimey, I’ve never heard of getpaidto. If it’s got some decent brands onboard, which it does seem to have, then I think I’ll have to take a look. BTW, I gave up on making presents years ago. I think anything that’s not an essential doesn’t get done when you’ve got 2 kids at home – I empathise! Tx

What a great way to make a bit of extra money at Christmas. I do most of my shopping online so I really need to give this a go.
