I often find bath times can be quite stressful with two children. Lately I’ve been putting the baby in her bath in the big bath with the toddler. This way they both have a bath and seem to enjoy each others’ company. The baby loves kicking her feet and splashing and the toddler loves playing with water. It sounds like it should be fun but it’s not for me. I seem to constantly tell the toddler to sit down, be careful, don’t splash and other boring parenting phrases.
To bring back some fun we’ve been trying some new baby bath toys from Flexi Bath – a little table which attaches to the side of the bath and a tea-making set. The toddler had great fun, making me pretend cups of tea and pouring water over himself. Flexi Bath also make the intriguing hard plastic bathtub for children which folds up flat!
The bath toys are lovely and colourful and have been giving the children lots of fun. I really like the fact they are so simple because my toddler just loves playing with water and these are now the first toys he reaches for. More importantly the cups, jugs and funnel are safe, easy to keep clean and eco friendly as they are free from PVC, Phthalates, BPA, heavy metals and other harmful materials.
