Five Happy Things

Five Happy Things {Week 11/2025}

embroidery hoop designed by Keely Reyes for Cotton Clara

Starting the week by writing the Happy List is something I’ve been doing for the last few years. It’s my chance to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of the adventures we have as a family.

Five Happy Things {Week 11/2025}

Last week I shared my thoughts on Bouquet in a Book, a lovely paper craft book which helps you make perfect paper flowers. You can read my review of the book here.

I finished my latest Hoop Club box which was a lovely embroidery hoop designed by Keely Reyes for Cotton Clara. It was stitched in just one colour which I’ve never done before. I got to learn a few new stitches too, such as reverse chain stitch, surface blanket stitch and pistil stitch. It’s currently on display as I like it so much.

mini Jellycat inspired clay workshop

My mum told me about a local pottery painting shop and I discovered they ran a mini Jellycat inspired clay workshop! My daughter and I love Jellycat so I booked two places and went with my daughter. We had so much fun creating mini Jellycats and bringing them to life in clay. We go back in 2 weeks to paint them!

My son will be celebrating his birthday this week so we visited Mercedes-Benz World as we had booked a young driver experience for him.

    You are so much like me. Every Happy Things post you do has some kind of crafting, and crafting always makes me happy, too.

    I always love seeing what sort of crafting you’ve been up to when you post in this series. It’s always something new and sort of cozy feeling.
