The weather is so lovely for the first day of the school holidays. As we can’t do any of the things we usually do we spent the morning writing a little list of the things we can do. These include reading via the Summer Reading Challenge, being creative thanks to Draw With Rob and taking part in a festival at home with POPFest!

I’m sure we’ll be spending lots of time at the park now it’s finally re-opened. It’s been the only thing my daughter has wanted to do for weeks and we’ve been checking daily! Our local play park has finally re-opened and we can’t wait to visit so she can climb and play. We’ll be spending lots of time at home too and catching up on some of our favourite shows thanks to POP who are bringing the spirit of summer and the festival season to your screens with POPFest!Enjoy the festival season at home with POPFest!

Running from the 17th July – 30th August, POPFest will air amazing shows every day, with Big Top Academy, Talking Tom and Friends and Trolls: The Beat Goes On headlining the Main Stage, and lots more of your favourites as part of the line-up too! You can catch it on Freeview 206, YouView 206, Sky 616, Virgin 736 or FREESAT 603.

On top of this, young viewers can also be in with a chance to be featured on the channel by submitting a clip of themselves performing one of their special talents or skills (e.g. playing an instrument, sports, singing, baking, arts, anything!) on the POP website or POP FUN app.

POP has also created a fun POPFest filter, where you can give yourself a flower crown, face paint, and some funky POPFest glasses! Let me know if you try it this Summer!

Disclosure – we received a goody bag of POPFest! merchandise but all thoughts and opinions are our own!
