I have the tiniest kitchen, it is actually smaller than our bathroom, yet I spend an increasing amount of time in it. Aside from preparing seemingly endless meals for the four of us, my week isn’t complete without some baking. As space is so precious it’s really important that the products I use are both practical and stylish.
The one product I must have is decent scales. I’ve gone through a few in the pursuit of perfection but my Brabantia digital kitchen scales do a great job. Most importantly they are compact – essential in my tiny London kitchen. They have all the features you would expect, including a capacity of 3000 g/6.6lb, easy to switch between grammes and ounces, and with an add and weigh option.
My one luxury item is this Brabantia herb rack with 7 jars which I have cunningly adapted to my baking needs. Instead of herbs and spices each jar is filled with baking powder, ground ginger, and sprinkles for my gingerbread baking!
Big Brother loves playing with them when he’s helping out in the kitchen. The jars are easy to clean, have measuring lids and are fitted with flavour-tight lids. The perfect size for storing essentials, the rack can be used on the counter or fixed to a wall.
