Win 1 of 3 copies of Do You Speak English, Moon?

Posted on October 9, 2014February 20, 2015 by jenny

Orion Children’s Books recently sent us a copy of Do You Speak English, Moon? by Francesca Simon and illustrated by Ben Cort. It’s a breathtakingly gorgeous bedtime picture book from the winning team who wrote Horrid Henry and illustrated Aliens Love Underpants.

Inquisitive children across the world are fascinated by the moon. Does anyone live on the moon?  How far away is it? And most importantly, can the moon speak?

This beautiful new picture book asks just this question as a little boy trying to sleep looks up at the moon and wonders whether it can speak English.

The book includes the story on CD read by Lenny Henry so we’ve been enjoying this at bedtime. My 2 and 4 year olds love listening to the story and it has inspired them to craft lots of moons from paper plates and tin foil! Read on for your chance to win 1 of 3 copies.

If you’re in London don’t miss the chance to see Francesca Simon and Ben Cort at Waterstones Kingston on Saturday 18th October at 3pm. They will be signing copies of their stunning new picture book, Do You Speak English, Moon?

Giveaway:

I have three copies of Do You Speak English, Moon to giveaway. To enter simply complete the Rafflecopter widget below.
