We are so excited about the latest Disney film, Moana. It was released just before Christmas and we went to see it during the holidays. We love going to the cinema and Moana is a great anti-princess figure for my daughter.
Moana is an adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfil her ancestors’ unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui, and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.
My 5 year old daughter enjoyed the film as much as I did. The film has some great songs and I know it’s something we would both enjoy watching again. I have seen lots of film merchandise around and we were sent the wonderful Moana of Oceania doll from Hasbro to review.
The doll is poseable and comes dressed in a removable outfit and includes a belt, anklet, arm cuff, and headband. You can press Moana’s shell necklace to hear “How Far I’ll Go,” the song featured in Disney’s Moana.
My daughter loves her new doll and has been having fun, styling her hair and making her sing. This is a great toy for fans of Disney’s Moana and I know my daughter will enjoy recreating the film with it. She’s already asked if she can take it in the bath but I think, due to the batteries, I will be saying no!
Disney’s Moana of Oceania doll is available from Amazon and all good toy shops, priced around £29.95.
