I love collaborations! I don’t usually eat breakfast but that didn’t stop me looking for the latest collaboration between Danone Light and Free X Orla Kiely. You all know how much I love my Orla Kiely handbags. Some of her homeware has crept into my house but generally I’m limited to a new handbag on my birthday or for Christmas. Well I was overjoyed to find an affordable collaboration between Danone Light and Free and Orla Kiely.

Yep, Danone Light and Free and teamed up with Orla Kiely on an exclusive range of limited edition pots! Pomegranate, blackberries and raspberries have been mixed together to create Pretty Poma-Berries flavour.
I have been trying to find these limited edition pots for the last few weeks and finally tracked some down in Waitrose. Available as a 4 pack, the new Orla Kiely-designed Pretty Poma-Berries yogurt. That’s not all, each pot features a favourite Orla Kiely print and there’s an on-pack promotion. You can enter for the chance to win a £5,000 shopping trip with Orla herself! The competition is open until 30.09.18 so you have plenty of time to find some and enter.
I’ve never tried this range of yoghurts before but I picked up 2 4 x packs so I was really hoping I would enjoy them. Thankfully they are fruity and creamy so I won’t have a problem finishing them off. The children seem to like them too so I may even end up looking for more!
I was really hoping that each pot would be re-useable in some way. I really dislike single use plastic so I’m a little annoyed with myself for being sucked into buying these! The prints are really pretty though, featuring Acorn Spot, Square Flower, Flower Spot, and Tulip. Sadly the print doesn’t go the whole way round each pot so I’m really going to have to think of a creative way to re-use them.
Have you seen these Danone Light and Free X Orla Kiely yoghurts? Would you be tempted to try them?

May 7, 2018 at 10:07 amI love Orla Kiely but as you rightly mention, given the focus on recycling it’s a real missed opportunity with these. I would rather have seen a ‘save the lids and get a mug’ scheme.
