It’s been so dreary lately that we wanted to make something colourful today. My 3 year old has wanted to make sun catchers for a while so today we made some daffodil ones using ready cut frames and cellophane squares.
I cut the cellophane squares into smaller pieces, placed the frame on a piece of contact paper and set everything out for my daughter.
She had fun enjoying what colours to put where.
She also tried to find different sizes of cellophane to cover the larger petals. When she had finished I covered the other side with more contact paper and trimmed around the edge. She made two and they are really pretty, and both have been hung up in our sun catcher window.
Disclosure – we were sent the Baker Ross Stained Glass Daffodil Decorations kit to review.

This is a brilliant idea and I love daffodils – they’re so cheerful!
This looks really fun, I want to have a go too!
