Do you ever watch your children colouring in and wish you could join them? If you’re following me on Instagram you’ll probably know you can! Phoenix Yard Books have produced a brand new range of colouring books for grown-ups including The One and Only colouring book for adults and The One and Only colouring book for grown up children.
We were sent a couple to try and they are so much fun to keep nearby. I especially like The One and Only colouring book for travelling adults which has a handy slipcase and is spiral bound which makes it easy to keep flat whilst colouring. It features both abstract and realistic images and is handbag sized which means I’ve been colouring in whilst my son has his weekly swimming lessons. It’s really calming and a great alternative to checking my email!
Colouring in doesn’t have to be just for children although my children have both had fun with these books. Even my husband has enjoyed colouring in some of the pages. My favourite in the series is The One and Only mandala colouring book. It features 70 of the most beautiful mandalas to colour at your leisure. The colouring book also has extra thick paper, making it suitable for all materials, whether you opt for pencil, pen or paint.
