My children love collecting things and the smaller the better. We were recently gifted some of the new collectible AR Discs to try out. We were kindly gifted a Collector Folder and single packs of the discs to open. My children love a toy which combines real life play and uses technology. They couldn’t wait to find out more!

Collectible Dreamworks AR Discs

The most innovative and dynamic new collectible craze is about to sweep the nation! AR Discs combine quality augmented reality with the collectability of premium interconnecting discs, to appeal to kids seeking more of an experience from their swappable playthings. Each AR Disc springs into life thanks to the free AR Discs app. You simply need to hover a smart device over the colourful Disc to see much-loved characters come to life.

Collectible Dreamworks AR Discs

We received the Collector Folder and a selection of blind bags. Each blind bags contains one disc which can be kept safe inside the folder. Not only can the discs be collected in the album and traded with friends, the interlocking AR Discs can also be used to create 3D models too!

Collectible AR Discs

The first collection celebrates the 25 Years of DreamWorks – the studio behind some of the world’s most beloved animated feature films that have captured kids’ hearts and taken them on thrilling adventures. DreamWorks fans can now experience, collect, trade and combine their favourite characters from hit movie franchises such as Shrek, Trolls, How To Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Boss Baby, Madagascar, Home, The Croods and Abominable.

Each AR Disc features an image of a DreamWorks character and features embedded augmented reality content which comes to life through the free app.

Collectible AR Discs

There are 80 DreamWorks AR Discs to collect, including two gold limited editions. AR Discs are sold in a Starter Pack containing a colourful Collector Folder and two Discs (RRP £8.99) and Single Packs (RRP £1.99), are suitable for ages 6+ and are available from all good newsagents.

    These are such a fun idea and would be so much fun to collect! Jack would love these and it is something I would have liked too when I was young.

    These remind me of pogs a little, but a lot cooler than them as the 3D aspect is pretty cool. Got to love Dreamworks and Disney bits x
