Do you have children who like to dress up? I don’t.
I was offered the chance to review a costume from Simply Fancy Dress and seized the opportunity. They have a great selection and I was totally drawn to the Little Gingerbread Man Costume for the toddler.
The costume arrived in a useful clear plastic bag and consists of trousers, top with attached gloves and headpiece, and comes in three different sizes. It’s made of polyester and is quite thin, so if I can ever persuade my toddler to wear it he’ll have to put on something underneath! Simply Fancy Dress don’t just sell festive outfits, they have a great range of adult and children’s fancy dress for all occasions and offer free UK delivery too!
Despite the toddler looking and holding the costume every day for the last week he wouldn’t put it on. I really want to have the children dressed up in fancy dress for our annual Christmas card and thought this would be a perfect costume. As the toddler just wasn’t playing ball I thought Little Sis might enjoy trying the hat on. As you can see from the photographs she wasn’t happy either.
I think I’m resigned to the fact our Christmas card may take more thought this year…

November 14, 2012 at 1:04 pmReally cute! And would look so amazing on a Christmas card, too…well, maybe it is just not nice to touch if the kids werent that eager to wear it? On a side note, I thought Halloween is the holiday that gives opportunities to dress up, not X-mas. Ok, maybe X-mas, but only for Santas! 🙂
