    LEGO Batman 2: DC Heroes

It’s not often I’m offered a product that I know my husband would love but Warner Brothers recently asked if we would be interested in a copy of LEGO Batman 2: DC Heroes to review. As I mention all the time *we love Lego* so it was a big fat yes please! Batman and Robin return in LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes, the highly-anticipated sequel to the best-selling LEGO® videogame of all time, which to date has sold more than 11 million units worldwide.  This time the Dynamic Duo join forces with other famous DC super heroes including Superman, Wonder…

Colour boutique range from morphy richards

As part of my role as a morphy richards innovator we have been trying out a new kettle and toaster from the new Colour Boutique range. Morphy Richards know the importance of colour when it comes to home interiors and adding a splash of colour with striking appliances can be a cost effective way to refresh your kitchen. Our kitchen is a bit of a mix of colours so we chose the orange kettle and toaster from the vibrant range as we both love orange. The first thing we noticed was that the colour on the website and box did…

    Socialising without the worry

With two teething children under 27 months I have to say I don’t drink much any more. The thought of getting up in the middle of the night to look after my children after I’d had a couple of drinks just doesn’t bear thinking about and I don’t think I could cope with my two and a hangover! Making socialising easier than ever is Sorelle, a brand new 0% alcohol wine-style drink that has a fresh crisp and floral authentic wine taste without the alcohol. Available in two delicious flavours (a crisp, zesty Sauvignon Blanc and floral Rosé) Sorelle is…

    Making bath time fun

I often find bath times can be quite stressful with two children. Lately I’ve been putting the baby in her bath in the big bath with the toddler. This way they both have a bath and seem to enjoy each others’ company. The baby loves kicking her feet and splashing and the toddler loves playing with water. It sounds like it should be fun but it’s not for me. I seem to constantly tell the toddler to sit down, be careful, don’t splash and other boring parenting phrases. To bring back some fun we’ve been trying some new baby bath…

    Zoflora review

I can’t resist a good old British heritage brand and I’ve recently been trying Zoflora*, the UK’s favourite household disinfectant brand, which is celebrating its 90th birthday this year. Zoflora is still manufacturing in its Huddersfield factory, since the brand began in 1922, and is known for its fragranced antibacterial disinfectant products. Originally created for use in Britain’s dance halls, it rapidly became a household favourite, replacing harsh carbolic disinfectants with fragrant, perfume enriched Zoflora. Zoflora has been on trend with each generation of user appreciating the new fragrances added to the range. Zoflora is introducing a brand new, limited…

    Weaning on the go

Today we went to Willow’s Farm in Hertfordshire as we had heard some great things about it. I have packing for a day trip down to a fine art but have only recently started including a little lunch bag for Little Sis. Now we have weaning well established I take a pouch of puree and a spoon along with her bottles and powder dispenser. Little Sis is such a happy eater that I’ve kept the first pouch she finished in her memory box – proud mummy moment! Despite promising that it wouldn’t happen the toddler has a blue lunch bag…

    Help with moving house

We spent yet another weekend house hunting. Whilst at home we spend our evenings narrowing down an area we want to look round and make sure we can afford. Then we like to bookmark a couple of houses to look at when we’re out and about. There are a couple of apps we usually use on our iPhones and iPad as there are a growing number of apps available. Last weekend we used the new free FindaProperty.com property search app for the iPad, which provides a convenient search tool for those looking to buy, rent, let, sell or simply browse…

BT digital video baby monitor 1000 review

My new favorite toy is the BT video baby monitor we were recently sent. Forget Mad Men and Alcatraz, the new show everyone is talking about is the Big Brother Show. In his cot bed at 7pm every night I thought he was putting his head down and sleeping. Thanks to the lovely new video monitor I find he is actually standing up, sitting down, lying down, standing up, sitting down, lying down until he eventually drops off! It’s definitely an eye opener. The Digital Video Baby Monitor 1000 is the latest in the range and gives you a video…

    Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser

The very word Milton is synonymous with sterilising. It also makes me think of my mum who loves to remind me that when I was a baby she had to sterilise my bottles using Milton and cold water for hours on end. Thank goodness things have moved on. Not only do modern mums benefit from steam and microwave sterilisers but we now have the mini portable soother steriliser too! Sterilising experts Milton have launched the stylish new steriliser in eye catching colours- green, blue and purple.
