    Personalised name puzzles and bedroom update

    Both my children have lovely bedrooms and, being on holiday from school, they are getting plenty of time to play in them. We recently re-decorated my 6 year olds bedroom and now it is a really great space for her to sleep and play. I mentioned that earlier this year we put up a really fun print on her bedroom wall. I also been adding some fun, playful touches. I’m a huge fan of monochrome, and whilst I didn’t think it would suit the walls, I couldn’t resist a few items around her room. I bought her a new white…

    Our Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment experience

    Last week I told you how excited we were to go and see our first Disney on Ice show at the Wembley SSE Arena. Our whole family are big Disney fans so were really looking forward to trying something new and watching Disney On Ice Worlds of Enchantment. Yesterday we had a lovely morning at home, the sun was out for the first time and it was great to spend time in the garden. After lunch we headed into town as we wanted to go shopping at the London Designer Outlet before the show. We grabbed some bargains and stopped…

    Easter themed bento lunch

    Our Easter weekend passed in a bit of a blur thanks to a house full of family. We had Easter Egg Hunts (indoors due to the weather) but it just felt so busy with little time to relax. Thankfully the children have a 2 week break from school which gives us plenty of time to enjoy Easter treats. We have plastic Easter eggs everywhere. They’ve been used in our Nom Nums Easter Egg Hunt, in our usual Easter Egg hunt (filled with chocolate eggs) as well as covered in washi tape. They also make the perfect container for an Easter…

    Saving money on days out over the holidays {kids eat free at Subway!}

    I love the Easter holidays. Christmas is but a distant memory and we’re all enjoying the longer days despite the relentless rain. I know that we traditionally have bad weather over a Bank Holiday but please, we could really do with some dry days! Subway challenged us to enjoy a day out over the holidays without spending any money. Subway have a fab deal where Kids Eat Free with a purchase of an adult meal (find your nearest branch here), so Little Sis and I planned a girls day out with lunch to see if it was possible to not…

    Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

    Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. I love starting off each week by writing my Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things blog post. Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. I love starting off each week by writing my Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things blog post. It’s a great chance to reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week. Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things We had a really busy weekend. There was so much going on which was fun, but a little hectic. I love Spring – the clocks have gone forward and there’s more daylight. The kids can’t wait to play outside after school, especially since we let them clean the trampoline. We’ve been planning some…
