This year we are trying to make as many decorations as we can. We have some wonderful decorations the kids have made over the last few years and I look forward to seeing them each year. We definitely don’t need to buy any more Christmas decorations, and have enjoyed making a few new ones to add to our collection. Cardboard roll Christmas trees We love to raid the recycling box when we craft and couldn’t resist using some cardboard rolls to make sweet little Christmas trees. These are so much fun to make and you can decorate them however you…

Did you know that the BBC is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2022? The BBC started its first daily radio service in London in 1922, it only broadcast for a few hours, mainly news and ‘talks’. The BBC is a national institution here in the UK, but what exactly is it? It’s both impartial and independent, and every day creates distinctive, world-class programmes and content which inform, educate and entertain millions of people in the UK and around the world. Growing up with only 4 tv stations I’ve always enjoyed BBC programmes on the radio and television. There’s so much…

My daughter has had her Pokemon trading card collection out over the holidays to sort them. All Pokémon cards depict one or multiple Pokémon from the Pokémon video games series, and they specify a name, an elemental type, a move set and/or ability, and a certain amount of HP. To be honest she has never really played the game, she just loves to collect and swap them with her friends! She has a lot of trading cards and a lot of duplicate cards so I suggested she try crafting with them. She came up with an easy Pokemon trading card…
