This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine. Over the last few weeks I’ve shared a few projects made with my Cricut Maker. These include the personalised vinyl name sticker I decorated my Cricut Maker with, as well as the tea towel I made – which I can confirm has washed beautifully. Today I wanted to share another tutorial with you. My daughter loves rainbows so I used my Cricut Maker to make some rainbow wall art for her bedroom. Supplies needed: Heavy Chipboard 2.0mm Standard Grip mat Masking…

You know how I love to try new crafts. I usually stick to my favourites of sewing and paper cutting, but a few months ago I signed up to a craft subscription box and received a punch needle kit. I hadn’t heard of punch needle before but the kit contained fabric, an embroidery hoop, embroidery threads and a punch needle. What is punch needle? If you haven’t heard the term punch needle before then I would explain it as something maybe your grandmother did. You use a punch needle (which looks a little like a pen) to literally punch a…

I’m so happy that we are on our final week of school before the Easter holidays. My children are desperate for a break from school and I am looking forward to all those after school clubs finishing for a couple of weeks. As well as the 2 week holiday we will also be celebrating Easter! I’ve been super organised this year and have already bought all our Easter eggs. Which means I can concentrate on some fun Easter crafts with my kids. First up are these gorgeous Bunny Ear cupcakes which make for a super Easter treat. They are really…

Last year I boldly stated that I wasn’t going to buy any new craft supplies until I had used up my overflowing stash. I’m afraid I broke my promise. Not only did I fail to plough through my stash and make everything, I also bought some new items. I’m beginning to think that I should give away the unopened craft kits I have. I think that if I didn’t want to open them and make them when I got them, then I probably shouldn’t waste any more time on them (and feel guilty about storing them!). Moda Matchbox Quilt No.…

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine. A few weeks ago I shared a post about my brand new Cricut Maker machine. It’s a lovely machine for people who love to craft their own items at home. You can cut all kinds of different materials so it’s great if you like making cards, quilts or pretty much anything. Alongside the Cricut Maker I also received the Cricut EasyPress 2. This is essentially a heat press which make it super easy to apply the vinyl you cut with your…

We were walking through central London today and the children were really excited to see all the decorations for St Patrick’s Day. Tomorrow there is a huge parade taking place from Hyde Park Corner to Trafalgar Square, followed by a huge party with live music, food and dancing. We will be celebrating at home but I couldn’t resist sharing one last St Patrick’s Day recipe, to make some fun St Patrick’s Day Oreo Pops. St Patrick’s Day Oreo Pops Ingredients 1 (15.35 ounce) package Double Stuf Oreo Chocolate Sandwich Cookies 2 (11 ounce) packages green candy melts Gold sugar sprinkles…

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine. A few weeks ago I was contacted by Cricut. Have you heard of them? They make the most amazing home die-cutting machines which I have lusted after ever since I saw them at a Hobbycraft press show a few years ago. They offered to send me their new Cricut Maker, EasyPress 2 and a bundle of craft materials and tools so I could try it for myself. I am so excited to work with Cricut but also slightly nervous too! I…

It’s not long until we celebrate St Patrick’s Day. I’ve been trying to think of small ways to celebrate at home and came up with some delicious St Patrick’s Day Brownie Bites. I’m all in favour of a quick bake so used a shop bought packet mix as the base of these. You can make them in a mini muffin pan or in a brownie tray and cut them into small bites. Don’t forget to check out our other St Patrick’s Day crafts for kids and adults to make. Ingredients to make St Patrick’s Day Brownie Bites: 1 (18.3 ounce) package…

We’re all about the St Patrick’s Day celebrations in our house. I know it’s still a few weeks away but it’s never too early to start on the St Patrick’s Day crafts for kids! We’ve already shared a few new St Patrick’s Day crafts, such as our St Patrick’s Day Pot of Gold lacing craft or our shamrock paper wreath. We have one last St Patrick’s Day craft to share with you today, how to make a simple St. Patrick’s Hat pencil holder – perfect for the kids to make and store their colouring pencils.
