We are excited to work with Bostik again this year to produce some family friendly crafts. We are huge fans of Bostik products and today we’re sharing a really fun Valentine craft. We were sent a wonderful box of craft products including Bostik White Glu and Glu Dots. These products are staple for our craft cupboard and are so useful. Recently I’ve been experimenting with some heart-shaped dies and the children were keep to use the cut outs. We combined them with some beautiful smooth pebbles to make a fun Valentine heart stone craft for kids which also doubles as…

I can’t believe we finished our last craft as part of the Bostik Family Craft Bloggers today. We’ve had so much fun over the last 12 months using their products in our crafty activities. Our final prompt was snow so today we made potato print snowmen a perfect Christmas craft for kids! For our potato print snowmen we used – potatoes, a cookie cutter, white paint and a pack of Bostik Glitter Pens. How to make potato print snowmen I prepared the potatoes by cutting them in half and used the cookie cutter to cut my desired shape. I couldn’t…

This year we’ve been working with Bostik who make some great craft products such as the Fine and Wide Glu Pen, White Glu, Glu Dots and Glu & Fix Fabric Glu. We’ve received a few packs of the Glitter Pens but I’ve always hidden them away as I was worried about the mess! This months theme was Christmas so I thought it was about time we tried out the Glitter Pens which made my children very happy. We’re all about gingerbread about the money so used them to decorate a paper plate gingerbread man. This is how we did it. Paper plate…

Every year we try and take the children to a Bonfire Night celebration. Bonfire Night is an important event in British history and I want my children to understand the meaning behind events such as this. I always think that crafting and making reinforces the things we are talking about at home which is why we crafted our own paper bonfire! We used: Cardboard tubes Brown tissue paper Bostik White Glu Paper plate + black paint Orange and yellow tissue paper How to make a Bonfire Night craft with kids First we painted a paper plate with black paint. Here in the South of England we’ve been experiencing a mini heatwave. My daughter is only doing half days at school this week as she settles in so we’ve had some amazing afternoon playdates in the sunshine. All this makes today’s crafty post a little strange to write as we’ve started our Halloween crafting! Yep, not only are the shops full of Christmas cards but Halloween decorations too. A few days ago we received our latest parcel of Bostik goodies to craft with. The theme was Halloween which is always fun. Our parcel of goodies contained both Bostik Glue Dots…

Despite enjoying the school holidays I have been planning for September and back to school. Half of the new uniform is bought but I’m putting off new school shoes for a week or two (always my least favourite job). My 4 year old will be starting Reception in September and taking a packed lunch so I’ve made her a personalised lunch bag to carry it in. I used a little cotton bag, Bostik Fine and Wide Glu Pen and cut out the first letter of her name using my Sizzix machine. The Bostik Fine and Wide Glu Pen can be…

We’re surrounded by sporting events at the moment which has had a great influence on our crafting. So far this year we’ve had Euro 2016, Wimbledon and the Tour de France 2016 and we’ve still got many more to come. Did you know that athletes in ancient games didn’t receive medals like they do today? Instead they received a wreath crown made of olive tree leaves, or later from the leaves of a bay laurel. I thought we should try and make our own paper version so today we’re sharing our paper plate laurel wreath craft for kids. Paper plate…

Each month we are sent a surprise box of crafting supplies and a new Bostik product to try. This month the theme was the weather and we received the Fine & Wide Glu Pen from Bostik. This is a clever glu stick with two ends (one thin and one thick) which makes it perfect for all kinds of craft projects. We have been experiencing lots of crazy English weather lately so the contents of the craft box were great for us to talk about the weather. Inside were lots of foam weather stickers, wooden pegs, the Glu Pen and other…
