Breakfast grooves with Angry Birds Frubes

Posted on October 22, 2016January 30, 2020 by jenny

Have you seen The Angry Birds Movie? In it you finally find out why the birds are so angry…

The movie takes you to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red, a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck, and the volatile Bomb have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

We watched the movie earlier this Summer and my children have had their favourite characters ever since. This has ended in lots of arguments over the breakfast table as I often buy boxes of Angry Birds Frubes and let’s just say that nobody wants the green piggy ones! These yummy yogurt tubes squeeze more fun into the day and are a family favourite. Available in Strawberry, Red Berry, Peach, and Banana flavours, they contain vitamin D and calcium for strong bones.

Frubes Birds vs Pigs Dance Off

To celebrate Frubes’ partnership with the must-see family film of the year, The Angry Birds Movie, Frubes has created a squawksome dance-off between the Angry Birds and mischievous Pigs. Staunch enemies in the film, the dance off between the Birds and Pigs means you and your family can settle the feud for good – pick a side and find out who is the ultimate dancer! Will your family shake their tail feathers with the Birds, or dance their bacon off with the Pigs?

We were challenged to try out our best ‘Frubes moves’ and share them with you! My 4 year old loves dancing so I thought she would love to take part in this. She tried ballet for a few months but is now happier dancing in the comfort of the living room. Did she want me to take photographs of her dancing? No! So you’ll just have to be satisfied with my 6 year old enjoying his Angry Birds Frubes at breakfast.

Win with Frubes on-pack promotion

Did you know that as part of The Angry Birds Movie partnership, Frubes is running an egg-citing on-pack promotion, offering families the chance to flock to the Bahamas for a fun-filled island holiday to spot exotic birds and swim with pigs? The competition includes a weekly draw to win a whole host of Angry Birds Movie merchandise, with a grand prize of a family holiday for four to spend six nights in the Bahamas! But hurry as the on-pack promotion ends the 31st October 2016.

Ahhh I remember when Angry Birds first came out and how popular it was! I’ve been to the Bahamas and that would certainly be an amazing family holiday to win! The dancing competition is such a lovely idea too! 🙂
