I was so happy to find pumpkins when we went food shopping this week. I admit I bought a few to bring a touch of Autumn indoors. The children are getting excited about Halloween and have been busy planning their outfits when they go Trick or Treating. I’ve shared a few fun Halloween crafts for kids this year and am delighted to add this Black Widow Spider line activity for kids. It’s a fun craft activity which will help develop kids fine motor skills.

Black Widow Spider line activity for kids instructions:

Download and print out the free Line Study Black Widow template.

Choose a section to start with and start to draw lines in each of the separate lined areas. Pay close attention to keep the lines within the right areas. This is great for developing your childs’ concentration and fine motor skills.

Change the direction of your pattern to really mix things up! Keep doing this until you have finished the whole sheet.

Colour the hourglass on the black widow spiders body red. Go over your lines with a suitably Halloween themed colour.

Once finished you can cut the excess border off the template and glue onto black construction paper or card to make it really stand out.

This is brilliant, I love how bright the shade of purple shows up and of course have nephews who love all things bug related, more to annoy their sisters, is right up their street x

These look good, it would be good to keep the kids entertain on halloween whilst I get the buffet ready.
