Hooray!

Posted on January 9, 2007September 12, 2017 by jenny

We finally exchanged on our new house today, seemingly months after our offer being accepted, but actually it was only 75 days. To celebrate we went to Pizza Express in Marylebone, which may not seem that exciting, but we had our first date in a Pizza Express on London Wall all those years ago ๐Ÿ™‚…

New friend for Mallory panda

Posted on January 8, 2007September 7, 2025 by jenny

New friend for Mallory panda Originally uploaded by Jennifer Young. I made a little friend for Mallory but he has no mouth so looks slightly scary. Oh well, better luck next time round. I’m really enjoying sewing. I haven’t sewn in years but there’s so much inspiration on the web and through reading blogs, it…

Boo hoo :(

Posted on January 3, 2007February 19, 2011 by jenny

I was hoping we might exchange contracts today but we didn’t, due to loads of difficult people in our chain. Never mind. To compensate, I dragged the boyfriend to Libertys where I looked at their beautiful material and bought some lovely pieces from their haberdashery. They have now beaten John Lewis in my estimation. Waiting…

My Mini-Moopy Bunny

Posted on January 2, 2007September 15, 2023 by jenny

This evening I spotted Mackenzie Crook on the tube at Archway! He didn’t look much like his character in The Office or Pirates of the Caribbean, but I suppose he’s a normal person when he’s not appearing in my lounge.ย  He caught me looking, well, staring open-mouthed, and elbowing my boyfriend whilst mouthing the words…

Bah humbug!

Posted on December 15, 2006November 12, 2012 by jenny

I have a post-office-Christmas-party-hangover, all my own fault, and am therefore feeling very sorry for myself. I am grateful I thought ahead and booked the day off. I have almost finished my Christmas shopping; presents for numerous friends and family, cards for over 50! How did people spend the month of December before Christmas became…

Busy

Posted on October 17, 2006February 19, 2011 by jenny

Haven’t posted in a while, too busy living life to blog. The flat is on the market (yippee!) and I’m trying to have a relationship with my boyfriend, rather than the tv ๐Ÿ™‚ Anyway, whilst listening to Radio 4 this morning I heard about this cool idea to get everyone to blog their day and…
