My children love to craft as much as I do and we were recently sent a really fun new toy from the world of AmiGami! Each pack includes one animal and everything you need to create your own AmiGami figure. We tried out the Giraffe and it included the Plastic AmiGami Giraffe, 30 AmiGami paper parts, 55 re-useable stickers, 1 curling tool and 6 Pins and Caps.
First of all we punched the perforated paper parts from the sheet.
Then we pinned them to the Giraffe and held them in place with the plastic pins and caps.
Finally we curled the lengths of paper with the curling tool.
The toy is aimed at ages 6 and over so my children are a little below the target age. However my 4 year old grabbed the concept instantly and had fun decorating the giraffe. He needed help with the pins and caps but loved the idea. I like the fact that you can use your imagination to customise the animals however you wish, it’s great for imaginative play.
The possibilities are endless and you can dress up your giraffe in lots of ways.
You can see my 4 year old enjoyed himself!
If you like the sound of AmiGami then don’t forget to subscribe to my blog as I will be hosting a competition to win 1 of 10 in early December!
