I’ve been wanting to try crafting with air dry clay for a while. When I heard about this new book, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
Pick up a new passion or expand your ceramic horizons with this crafty DIY air-dry clay guide. Make the trinkets of your dreams with no more than clay, paint, and this creative and accessible guide featuring over 50 adorable projects! Artist Hazel Brady teaches you how to make that gorgeous ceramic piece you’ve been eyeing in your local boutique with just a few simple steps. Choose from a variety of stylish trinkets, including: fun-shaped boxes, candle holders, a tic-tac-toe set, fridge magnets and many more!
I decided to make my own trinket dish. I gathered my materials and made my own supply of slip. I started to build the trinket dish with sides and handles.
Then I set it aside to dry for 24 hours before painting it white.
I decorated it with some wonky blue fish, and then sealed it with Mod Podge. The instructions were easy to follow and I enjoyed the process of creating with the air-dry clay. I also had time to make some small charms to hang on a bracelet.
Air-Dry Masterpieces by Hazel Brady, was published by Rock Point on the 11th June 2026, priced £18.99.

This sounds so cute! I would enjoy doing projects like this. It should have a kit you can purchase with the book. I think this would be fun to do with my daughter.

Big fan of crafting over here. I’d love to give this a try. Especially that tray. I could use something like that for my desk.
My daughter made me snowman Christmas tree ornaments a few years ago with air-dry clay. They came out really well.
