The One and Only elephant parade Colouring Book

Adult colouring reinvented in postcard form

Posted on May 10, 2016 by jenny

You all know how much I love my adult colouring books. I now have 2 shelves full of them from Orla Kiely to Vogue covers and everything in between. They are my favourite thing to pick up when I need some quiet time away from a screen. I’m always Instagram-ming my latest title and my only teeny tiny complaint is the size of them. I think my friends would tell you I’m a tiny bit impatient to fill in a hugely intricate design on an A4 sheet. Which is why I’m really enjoying the fact that the adult colouring book has now been reinvented in postcard form!

Phoenix Yard Books have just brought out two new titles, ‘The One and Only Elephants Parade postcard Colouring Book’ and ‘The One and Only Mini Mandala Colouring Book’ both in perfect postcard size.

The One and Only Elephants Parade postcard Colouring Book

The One and Only Elephants Parade postcard Colouring Book is full of designs taken from ElephantParade, a social enterprise who run the world’s largest art exhibition of decorated elephant statues. Now, the Elephant Parade has teamed up with One and Only Colouring and taken the unique designs painted on the elephants in the Elephant Parade and put them together in this beautiful collection of postcards to colour. The designs, taken from the elephants, have been created by artists and celebrities, including Diane von Furstenberg and Leona Lewis. Money from each book sold will go to the Elephant Parade charity which looks after elephant welfare and conservation projects worldwide.

The One and Only Mini Mandala Colouring Book takes all the intricate and beautiful designs from The One and Only mandala range and put them together in an accessibly sized book.

The One and Only Mini Mandala Colouring Book

I always pack a few of my adult colouring books when we go away for the weekend. Now I can pack these and also send them as each postcard is double sided with space to write on. I’m sure my 6 year old will be ‘sharing’ them both with me, but with 30 designs in each, I won’t mind!

The One and Only Elephants Parade postcard Colouring Book costs £6.99 and The One and Only Mini Mandala Colouring Book costs £5.99, both are available from all good bookshops.

The elephant parade one looks so cute! I love my colouring books, they really help me to zone out after a day in the office.

It’s a lovely theme for a colouring book, isn’t it.

The smaller books are great as you can carry them in a handbag too!
