A very long day

Snacking on the new Kingsmill Fruit & Fibre bread on the way. The range consists of Fruit & Fibre loaves, muffins and bagels, all containing a selection of tasty real fruit pieces and delicious juicy berries. To be honest I found the addition of the berries a bit strange as I’m so used to fruit loaves but the toddler loved it! A great way to make sure everyone enjoys part of their whole grain and fibre intake, and of course a great filling breakfast.

The toddler has taken a bit (ok, a huge) shine to my iPad Mini – “Mummy’s Pad” as he likes to call it. Fortunately we were sent some new apps to try and they really kept him occupied on the long drive to Devon.

There are three new Warner Bros. iPad apps which allow users to create their own sticker scenes and email them to friends as well as collect points for an in-app reward. The line up includes DC Super Friends: Stickers with Sounds; Superman: Stickers with Sounds and Batman: Stickers with Sounds. The toddler was a little young for them but we had fun reading each page and looking for the different characters.

There are also two Everything’s Rosie Apps for the iPad. They are suitable for kids 4+ but again, the toddler had no problem navigating his way around them. They feature interactive stories with sounds, narration and animation, together with fun activities, perfect for little Rosie fans.
