A couple of week ago I was really delighted to be asked to take part in a real nappy challenge with some other bloggers. I’ve umm-ed and ahh-ed over real nappies, and whilst I would love to do my bit for the environment, I just didn’t know where to start. I’d already attended a nappucino and tried other brands of real nappies but not really got on very well. Therefore this was a brilliant opportunity to try again with Little Sis.
The challenge consists of putting the miosolo to the test through a series of daily challenges over this week and I will be blogging about the results – wish me luck!
I was sent a lovely pack containing three misolo all-in-one nappies, 1 mioboot, mioliners, miofresh, miogel and a pack of miowipes – everything I would need for the challenge!
Challenge 1 – the stay at home challenge
Yesterday was a busy day so I decided to try the miosolo first thing as we were out in the afternoon. I pre-washed the nappies as instructed and put one on Little Sis first thing in the morning. It was easy to put on and the cross over Velcro tabs ensured a snug fit. The elasticated leg cuffs fitted well although there was a slight gap so I was worried it might leak!
I checked a couple of hours later and there were no leaks! Little Sis was very happy and I breathed a sigh of relief that I had managed the first challenge!
