I love family history and have been researching my own since I started a school project on it years ago. Now I have my own family history blog and regularly share my research. When I heard about The Queen’s Necklace by Adrienne Chinn it sounded like I would enjoy it. Let me tell you more about it.
The Queen’s Necklace by Adrienne Chinn
The most famous necklace in the world has finally been found…
Bryher Finch’s life isn’t just a disaster, it’s a catastrophe, until a chance invitation to chart her family tree changes everything. As Bryher uncovers the ancestry she never knew about, she stumbles on the find of the century – Anne Boleyn’s ‘B’ necklace, as enigmatic as Henry VIII’s most notorious Queen herself.
But Bryher isn’t the only one who wants the necklace…
I thought The Queen’s Necklace by Adrienne Chinn was a fun and lighthearted read. I read it in a few days because I couldn’t wait to see what happened. Bryher is a slightly annoying character, which keeps you guessing what she will do and how she will behave. I liked the dual time line, with Bryher and Betty’s story mirroring the real life events of Mary and Anne Boleyn. It was obvious that the author had done their research and I loved all the historical detail. This book makes a great weekend read, pack it in your bag if you love a light hearted historical fiction book!
The Queen’s Necklace by Adrienne Chinn, published by HarperCollinsUK next month, on the 25th September 2025. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Sounds like a really captivating story! Light hearted stories really brighten up this time of year.
Not read this one but sounds like something I would read . Will add it to my reading list for the year
