How to make a paper doily Halloween ghost family
Prepare the Ghost Body: Start by choosing a doily. The larger the doily, the bigger your ghost will be. Carefully cut out your ghost shape, making sure you use the patterned part for the bottom of your ghost.
Cut out different sizes for each member of the family. I cut out two larger and two smaller ghosts to make a family.
Add the Face: Now it’s time to give your ghost a spooky personality! Use a hole punch to cut out eyes or use a black marker to draw two eyes and a mouth on the ghost’s head. For a more playful look, glue on small googly eyes instead.
Decorate and Display: Once the ghost is finished, you can hang it by attaching a small string to the back of each ghost or leave it as a free-standing decoration. You could even add multiple ghosts to a string to create a garland for a spooky doorway or window decoration.
Paper doily ghosts are a versatile and quick craft that can be made in just a few minutes. They bring a charming, homemade touch to your Halloween celebrations, and because the materials are easy to find and inexpensive, you can make a whole flock of these cute, spooky spirits!
