  1. There are 29 phrases! And I am curious to read them all. I want to be an old wise granny one day with lots of curious things to say..

  2. There are 29. I love idioms and had great fun learning them in my French degree. My favourite is ‘tomber dans les pommes’ which literally means ‘to fall in the apples.’ Apparently it means to faint or pass out.

  3. There are 29 beautifully illustrated collection of curious phrases from around the world in the What a Wonderful Phrase book.
