My daughter loves her soft toy collection and was delighted to be gifted a gorgeous new member of the Care Bears family, Birthday Bear from Basic Fun! Unfortunately we don’t have any birthdays coming up to celebrate but that hasn’t stopped her enjoying her new Care Bear.

I remember the original Care Bears toys when I was growing up in the 1980s. I had some of the small, plastic figures which I loved, but remember the Care Bears books, magazines, stickers and almost everything! I’m delighted to see that they are back for a whole new generation to enjoy.

Birthday Bear is a brand new character for Care Bears, long with Togetherness Bear and Wish-A-Lot Bear. Birthday Bear is 16″ inches in size, comes in a soft huggable material (ready for unlimited bear hugs), with a collectible Care Coin. It also has a scent which is just like cupcakes with vanilla frosting – yummy!

He is super soft and fluffy which means my daughter loves him. She also liked the fact he came with a special Care Coin for collecting and sharing. It’s perfect to give to a friend to show them how much you care or you can keep it as a reminder to yourself to always be caring and kind!

Birthday Bear wants everyone to love their birthday. Besides birthday cake, she loves giving cards and presents. She has a unique belly badge featuring a cupcake with a candle in it. Birthday Bear brightens everyone’s Birthday and would make an extra special gift!

As well as Birthday Bear there are many more Care Bears to collect including Grumpy Bear, Cheers Bear, Funshine Bear, Wish-a-Lot Bear, Good Luck Bear and Tenderheart Bear.
