How to make Graduation Cap Oreo Cookies

How to make Graduation Cap Oreo Cookies

Posted on June 20, 2019May 12, 2022 by jenny

As much as we’re looking forward to the Summer, a part of me is feeling a little sad that my youngest is soon to graduate from Infant School. She’s been busy practising her lines for her Leavers Assembly as she has a few lines to say. We’ve been shopping for her outfit too and I’ve finally managed to get her in a dress, albeit a shirt dress. We’ve been planning our Teacher gifts but I thought it would be fun to make some Graduation Cap Oreo Cookies to celebrate her last day of school.

Graduation Cap Oreo Cookies ingredients:

Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares

Fudge Covered Oreo Cookies

Yellow icing (pictured: Wilton Yellow Icing Pouch with Tips, 8oz)

Milk chocolate morsels

Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave on high, stirring every 15 to 20 seconds until it has melted. Do not overheat as the chocolate will seize. If the chocolate becomes tough, you can add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil or vegetable shortening. Do not add water.

chocolate squares

Pipe a curved line from the middle of each chocolate square to the corner. Add a small dot of icing in the middle at the beginning of the line.

Dip one side of the Fudge Covered Oreo in the melted chocolate.

Immediately press against the branded side of a Ghirardelli Chocolate square.

Allow chocolate and icing to set completely prior to packaging or serving.

What do you think? These would go down a treat for any kind of graduation celebration and are so quick and simple to make.

These are adorable! My youngest is leaving the nursery in July to head off to preschool in September so I feel I need to make a batch of these to take in for her little friends
