A few weeks ago we were sent a bundle of the new Maped Creativ sets, this is a new range of craft toys and activities from Maped which are perfect for ages 4 and over. There are 14 different boxes to choose from spanning three categories; Mini Box, Color & Play and Board Activities. Each one contains a different, fun activity for children to enjoy while learning, and comes complete with a themed activity, stationery and simple instructions. Each activity is boxed with a full set of quality contents and unique designs.
My children love a creative activity and these have been a great after school activity for them. They have both been super tired this week and have enjoyed some quite creative time with these new sets. They both chose a set which appealed to them. The 7 year old chose the Maped Creativ Mini Box Coloured Sand set whilst the 9 year old chose the Maped Creativ Artist Drawing Board. We also received the Maped Creativ Color Play Design a Garden, read on for a chance to win this set!
Maped Creativ Mini Box Coloured Sand
My daughter chose this eye-catching kit to customize 2 totems with the coloured sand and live the Indians adventure at home. She loves sand art and knew what to do. The kit contained 2 totems to assemble and customize, 6 tubes of sand and 1 stick to help remove the paper. This was a great craft activity which she was able to do with little supervision.
Maped Creativ Artist Drawing Board – Animals
My 9 year old chose this set which lets you discover and play with the 5 continents, their people and cultures. The kit contained 1 transparent board, 1 cloth, 15 activity sheets, 10 dry erasable felt pens and 1 eraser. This is a really clever set as you place the transparent board over the picture of your choice, then re-create the picture with the coloured pens.
My son loves to draw and this allowed him to make a perfect picture which you can then hang up! When you’ve finished you rub away the colours and start all over again.
My children really enjoyed these creative craft sets. They are exactly the kind of products I would buy them and I love how all the materials were included and everything could be packed away when they had finished. They would make a great gift this Easter, to keep children busy or as an alternative Easter gift.
