Personalised name puzzles and bedroom update

Both my children have lovely bedrooms and, being on holiday from school, they are getting plenty of time to play in them. We recently re-decorated my 6 year olds bedroom and now it is a really great space for her to sleep and play. I mentioned that earlier this year we put up a really fun print on her bedroom wall.

I also been adding some fun, playful touches. I’m a huge fan of monochrome, and whilst I didn’t think it would suit the walls, I couldn’t resist a few items around her room. I bought her a new white wool rug in her reading corner, a cute black and white bag to hold some of her soft toys, and found some wooden sleepy eyes I’m going to paint and put up over her bed. I was also thinking of giving her vintage Lloyd Loom cushion a makeover with some lovely monochrome fabric I picked up at the Knitting & Stitching Show.

I was also able to add a gorgeous monochrome personalised name puzzle from TinyMe. I’ve mentioned them before because I love their personalised products, such as the amazing lunch bag with the removable lining my son uses everyday. My daughter loves puzzles and I knew she would be over the moon having her name as a puzzle. She has an unusual name and gets upset when she can never find her name on any products in shops. I thought this wooden personalised name puzzle from TinyMe would more than make up for this!

The personalised puzzles are really easy to make as you can choose not only the design, but also the colour before you personalise it with your chosen name. I loved all the designs, especially the dinosaur one, but opted for the monochrome design as it suited her new bedroom perfectly. It comes in a felt bag to store it when it’s not in use, and is made from sustainable wood, so makes a great ethical toy too.

Her bedroom is looking lovely. If it was tidy I would show you pictures but I’m afraid the 6 year old is as messy as she can be!
