If you’re a mum of small people, or perhaps married to a Lego nerd, then you may have a house full of Lego minifigs. Now I love Lego Minifigs, especially since they did some amazing collabs such as the Disney one. Oh yes, I couldn’t wait to collect those and quickly did, thanks to the lovely staff at our local toy shop who could identify a blind bag in seconds.
My husband collected the first series of the Simpsons, and my 7 year old recently collected the Batman series. This left us with a problem. How to display a collection of Lego Minifigs?
Our first collection was the nine figures which made up Team GB Olympic Series back in 2012, these were issued to coincide with the London Olympic Games. We built a little two tier stand which they’ve happily stood on ever since.
My husband wanted something a little nicer for his 16 The Lego Simpson Series 1 which came out in 2014 and ordered a case from BrickDisplayCase.com I was looking for something similar to house my 18 Lego Disney Minifigure collection from 2016 when we discovered you could add one or two tiers to the Brick Display Case. So I hastily re-arranged my husband’s Simpson collection and took one of the storage cases for myself! You can see how it looks with the two tiers – a little busy but still good.
When my son finished collecting his Lego Batman Movie Series minifigs a few weeks ago we had the same problem of just how to display them. This was the first set of figures he wanted to display and not play with. First we looked to Pinterest for some inspiration, quite happy to make something. But we couldn’t find anything, especially as this series had a whopping 20 figures in it.
Instead we purchased a Lego frame from the Lego Store. Essentially a base board with some special bricks to hold the figures, we looked at buying the pieces separately but it was actually cheaper to buy the frame. I’ve seen a similar frame for the Lego Avengers series, nice and simple with a cardboard frame. You can pull out a piece at the back so it stands or it can be hung up.
We’re having to be careful as our house is pretty saturated with Lego. I’d definitely be happy to hang more on the walls though, especially since we re-organised a wall in our dining room for fun stuff like this.
For a great selection of the hottest Lego toys this year, have a look at this list from My Kid Needs That. I’d love to hear if you have a collection of Lego minifigs. If you do, how do you display them?

Thsee are so great ways to display Lego figures, the only issue I have is that my little girl wants to play with them lol. X
Lovely collections for the little ones and great displays as well.
Some lovely ideas here, as can imagine otherwise these would easily get lost 🙂 x
I SO need one of these – this is the very range that Pickle is collecting – he loves them. Kaz x
Wow you guys have so much lego! I think the lego board is a really neat way of displaying your lego figures and it keeps them neat and tidy as well x
These are fantastic display ideas! I love all The Simpsons figures!
I love these ideas. Thankfully none of mine have ever really been into lego. It’s so expensive too!
I’ve never been into Lego but I’m totally geeking out over that Simpsons collection right now!
I love these! A great way to get them organised! My boys are only little still (6 &3), but the eldest got a few Lego sets to get him started at Christmas and the youngest goes crazy for the figures! He will literally tip the whole box of Lego out, get the figures and leave the rest! I think I’ll have to purchase some sort of display case for them!
That’s a really good idea – storage and decoration all in one! I love duel purpose items for the home.
