Did you know that your empty Johnson’s Baby Wipes packs are full of potential? Johnson’s have joined forces with TerraCycle to launch the new ‘Wipe Out Waste’ initiative. The aim is to reduce waste and its impact on the environment, whilst raising money for charity. The packs are upcycled and turned into bibs, mousemats, baby wipes holders or splash mats!
Today Edward and I joined a host of other mummy bloggers to learn about this new initiative. Whilst Edward had fun at a tea party I listened to experts from Johnson’s and TerraCycle tell us how the campaign works. Have a look at the video which will tell you more succinctly than I can.
It’s free to participate and you can sign up online:
1. Collect your empty Johnson’s Baby Wipes packs. For every one you send in, a charity of your choice will be credited with 2p.
2. Register online, download a pre-paid label and send in your empty packs to TerraCycle.
3. TerraCycle will convert the collected packs, transforming the waste into unique innovative products and credit your account 2p for each approved item received.
